CALL OF DUTY The first Call of Duty installment was released October 29th 2003. Created by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, CoD was advertised by using many ATL and BTL methods. One being trailers: the trailer wasn't explicitly published on Youtube by Call of Duty however a trailer was created -   - which people loved. This is an ATL method however it didn't reach many people! A BTL method would be posters! Posters and trailers tie-in to attract a larger audience. How do they tie-in? They may have used posters for thumbnails of gameplay and trailers. This is one of the posters and they created it so well. It attracts anyone who likes war, guns, FPS shooters, realism, tanks etc. Having the title so large creates a memory in the viewers mind to not forget it.  Call of Duty: Vanguard was released 5th November 2021 on all platforms! Call fo Duty: Vanguard was advertised by creating trailers in real life and making CGI ones. They also made posters an...

Advertising Methods

Above The Line involves mass media methods for targeting larger and more general customers. Lion King Marketing Ideas

The Lion King 1994 If I were to advertise for The Lion King, I would sell Disney based news paper and get The Lion King on the front cover, selling it in many different shops. Making it exclusive and cost more. Using social media such as TikTok, Instagram, etc to show the news paper.  I would partner with fast food companies to create specific foods and packaging advertising the film. This would also go viral on social media creating synergy between fast food and the internet. WHAT DID DISNEY DO?: They created posters of Simba walking out of a cave and some different ones. They used a mix of trailers, posters, billboards and social media but an extensive collection of promotional partnerships and event appearances.  How did Disney distribute?: The film was theatrically released in the United States on July 19, 2019, in  IMAX and 3D . It is one of the first theatrical films to be released on Disney+.
